Authority to the Airgunning World

Where instigating argumentative debates and stepping on egos are the rule.

Since this topic was banned on the yellow (The very reason this blog was created), I might as well continue it here. This guy is selling a Whiscombe model 70 in the classifieds:

Bend-me-over Whiscombe pricing

He does a good job hyping up this rifle, just like Beeman did in his catalogs. Just might borrow his copy in my Whiscombe ad (JW 80 S/N 001) for 10K if he is successful.

For some reason beyond my intellect, these types of rifles have an aura about them that commands outrageous pricing. I have two, and don't think they are that big of a deal.

With all the buzz with these rifles, maybe I should start worshiping the people who own them. I should be patting myself on the back for being in such an exclusive club.

Before you worship that tuner/guy you bought an airgun from think twice:

Semi-skilled labor market

Four out of the 25 worst jobs for 2010 fall under an airgun tuner.

24. Machine tool operators start at $22,000 and top out at $50,000
23. Drill press operators start at $21,000 and top out at $48,000
19. Machinists start at $22,000 and top out at $55,000
14. Sheet metal workers start at $24,000 and top out at $74,000

I never could understand why they are regarded in the highest on the forums.

Proof that it isn't the gun:

MAC1 smackdown

Tim shot with a USFT, and still couldn't outshoot a majority of the piston class. I remember he failed miserably at the worlds as well. Don't bother me with excuses either. Hard to push your products if you can't use them. Now we know he doesn't QA them guns before they go out. Someone has to shoot strait for that to happen.

I never thought it would come to this, but now we have yellow forum dating services!

Russ Best is available

I'm a little confused about the thread header. Isn't this the guy who has tons of negative feedback on the yellow BOI? If you were a master tuner it wouldn't take three years to tune and return a gun.

Anyway, back to the action:

Male seeking Male

Russ's turn-ons:

1. Someone nice to talk to
2. Same age bracket as me (80+)
3. Fisting

Turn-offs:

1. Sober
2. Dress well
3. Running a legitimate business

Motto: "Don't drop your keys"!

If you want to really bewilder airgunners you pull this out of your ass:

target="_blank">Jerry rigging a Gamo

Pros:

1. Easy to cock.
2. Cheap platform.
3. High velocity numbers.

Cons:

1. Upgrade costs more than rifle.
2. Cheap fit and finish.
3. Have to basically rebuild gun.

I love how he uses the lightest pellets to show high chrony #'s. How are the groups at 50 yards? I'd be surprised if they hit a paper target the size of a square foot . You won't hear from this guy again.

Every person has milestones while going though life. Examples are:

1. Graduate from college.
2. Getting married.
2. First child.
4. Ugliest t-shirt in the universe

We have come to that milestone where the wearer of the shirt is more important than all the previous milestones put together. To pull this off takes ingenuity and many years of hard work.

I thought the white trash trucker shirts were the worst, but this one takes the cake. Guess which t-shirt won? You guessed it, the one right in the middle.

I also recommend bathing at least once a week, and washing clothes once a month. Not sure if wearer of the ugliest shirt in the universe adheres to this schedule.

I can only imagine how bad the dialogue would be as some poor fool asked about it.

My first groupie! It's not the kind I wanted, but at least I have another fan in my stable. Picture of Dante provided by email:

Apparently, he can't get enough of the truth I speak. You can find it here:

Airguninferno

I must say I'm touched since he thoroughly enjoys my blog. This in turn motivates me to think of more inspiring threads for curious minds. Thank you for all the support. All I can say is keep up the good work and spread my URL far and wide! Your bestest friend - sonnysan
